SUBJECT:
UPDATE SCHEDULE FOR OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENTS DRS Operational Programs Section plans to lead a series of Operational Perfonnance Assessments (OPAs) at selected pl?.nts toward the end of the SALP period with participation from residents from other sites.
Enclosed is a proposed schedule for OPAs for the remainder of CY 1988.
Please review the proposed schedule and provide comments in writing to us by July 29, 1988. Our goal is to fix the schedule by July 09, 1988, and to make future changes only if absolutely necessary.
Please affirm to us that you will support this schedule with two resident or senior resident inspectors on each team.
It is not necessary to finalize names right now, but we seek the commitment by August 2, 1988.
We appreciate your support and cooperation in this matter.
By fixing a long-term schedule, we hope to eliminate confusion and wasted resources.
I am sure you share our desire in this regard.
