Plant Protective System Setpoint Reevaluation
REFERENCE:
NRC letter, Heitner to Williams, dated June 20, 1988 (G-88272)
Gentlemen:
The NRC issued Amendment 60 to the Facility Operating License for the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating Station in the above reference.
This Amendment revised the existing setpoints for the Plant Protective System to account for instrumentation uncertainties.
As part of the NRC's Safety Evaluation for this Amendment, certain items were identified for future licensee action.
The NRC requested a schedule for completing these action items within 45 days of the date cf the Amend aent.
In a telecon on July 20, 1988, with Mr. Ken Heitner of the NRC staff, PSC requested that due to the late receipt of the above referenced letter, the full 45 days would be needed to establish the requested schedule.
Mr. Heitner agreed that this was acceptable and the 45 days would commence with the date of the above stated telecon.
