Dear Dr. Ortiz:
In response to your June 1988 monthly report for FIN A1764, progress to date is satisf actory. As you are aware, I am acting as project manager for this project for the next month or so while Michael Weber is out of the office.
In early July I spoke with Mr. Shipers on the telephone concerning initiation of work under Task 2.2, assessment of relative significance of pathways identified under Task 2.1.
lir. Shipers and I agreed to hold a telephone conference at some future date to develop a plan of attack for Task 2.2.
I will contact Mr. Shipers this week to arrange a date for this ennference.
The action taken by this letter is considered to be within the scope of work for FIN A1764. This letter does not authorize changes in costs or schedules of products or services under FIN A1764.
Please contact me immediately at FTS 492-3446 if you consider that this letter will result in changes in costs or schedules of contracted products or services.
