DESCRIPTION:
This source is a replacement source for Automation Industries 520 radiography device.
The source consists of iridium encapsulated in a stainless steel capsule sealed by a continuous circumferential heliarc weld.
Minimum capsule wall thickness is 32 mils (0.00081 mm).
The assembly consists of the source swaged to one end of a 1/8 inch
( 3. 2 mm) diameter " pig-tail" cable with the Automation Industries connector swaged to the opposite end.
a ball-stop is swaged to the cable 1-15/32 inches (37. 3 mm) from the connector end of the assembly.
