Radiography Source DESCRIPTION:
Elemental-iridium-192 is singly encapsulated in a stainless steel capsule consisting of two parts joined and sealed by heliarc welding with a minimum wall thickness of 27 mils (0.00068 mm).
Overall length of the source pigtail assembly is six and one half inches (165.1 mm).
Tip of female connector of ball-stop dimension is two inches (50.8 mm). Ball stop diameter after swaging is 284 mils (0.0072 mm).

-Cumberland Research Corporation. Cumberland Research Corporation's materials license expired July 31, 1977 and the company is no longer in business.
This source was approved for licensing purposes by the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) on July 23, 1970.
There is insufficient information on file for this device to perform a safety evaluation.
Therefore, this certificate is being reissued without further review based on.the original review and approval issued by AEC.
