Commonwealth Edison has evaluated the proposed fire protection modification of the Auxiliary Building HVAC syttoin and provides the following implementation schedule:

ACTIVITY COMPLETIQti DATE

1) Begin initial design activities June 29, 1988 (ie., conduit routing, emergency lighting location, conceptual design and procedure revisions)
2) Issue design drawings for comment August 5, 1988
3) Issue drawings foe construction September 1, 198S
4) Install new conduit for HVAC power Octobe.r 20, 1988 feeds for exhaust fans OA and OB
5) Disconnect exist.'.ng OA and OB power February 15, 1989 feeds: pull back cable into cable spreading room; reroute cable through new conduit and terminate
6) Fire wrap new conduit with 1-hour March 31, 1989 fira wrap A0 l

7) Incorporate new installation into FOPS March 31, 1989
8) Install additional emergency lights March 31, 1989 The'above schedule represents a realistic aggressive attempt to complete the modification in a timely fashion. This modification was processed in an accelerated manner and in a more compressed time frame than a typical modification while still adhering to the requirements of the CECO modification program. Please bei advised that we have adjusted our manpower to accommodate the Unit 2 outage which begins on October 20, 1988.
