This is a request under the Freedom ofInformation Act. I request that a copy of documents containing the following information be provided to me:

The most recent document describing the status of your agency's efforts to update its computer systems to remedy the Year 2000 computer problem". '
2.
The most recent document describing the status of your agency's efforts to assure private sector entities regulated by your agency are updating their computer systems to remedy their Year 2000 computer problem.
In order to help to determine my status to assess fees, you should know that I am an individual seeking information for personal use and not for a client nor for commercial use.
I request a waiver of all fees for this reouest. Disclosure of the requested information to me is in the public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations and activities of the government and is not primarily in my commercial interest. Our government's planning on how it will cope with the Year 2000 problem is of greatest importance to all citizens. I am willing to pay fees for this request up to a maximum of $15. If you estimate that the fees will exceed this limit, please inform me first.
