Response to NRC Bulletin 87-02, Supplements 1 and 2 Gentlemen:
The purpose of this letter is to submit a response to NRC Bulletin 87-02, Supplementa 1
and 2,
"Fastener Testing To Determine Conformar.ce With Applicable Material Specifications".
The bulletin supplements required a list of suppliers and manufacturers f rom which sa f ety-related and nonsa fety-related ferrous f asteners 1/2 inch in diameter or greater may have been purchased within the past ten years, including addresses.
In a discussion with P. W. O'Connor and J. T. Conway of the NRC staf f, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation proposed to only provide in f o rma t ion i
concerning f.-teners from Kansas Gas & Electric /WCNOC purchases since commercial oper, ion of Wolf Creek Cenerating Station.
It was indicated I
that this would ue acceptable in response to the bulletin.
Therefore, the attachmeat to this letter supplies this information as discussed with the NRC.
