Toledo Edison hereby submits the information requested by NRC Bulletin 87-02, Supplements 1 & 2, "Fastener Testing to Determine Conformance with Applicable Material Specifications." Supplements 1 & 2 required that licensees submit information regarding the identity of the suppliers and manufacturers of safety related and non-safety related fasteners.
Action Item 1 required identification of suppliers and manufacturers from which safety related ferrous fasteners 1/4 inch in diameter or greater may have been purchased from within tha past 10 years. summarizes those suppliers and manufacturers as requested. This list was generated from

a review of Davis-Besse Authorized Vendar Lists (nVL).
Davis-Besse commenced publication of a formal AVL in 1982.
During the time period of 1982 to 1988 this list remained relatively unchanged.
Personnel involved with material purchasing vere interviewed in an effort to obtain a listing of other vendors that may have been used prior to 1982.
Action Item 2 required a similar search for suppliers and manufacturers of non-safety related fasteners. The esst.ntial difference in this ef fort f rom that regarding safety related fasteners was the action to review five years of information rather than 10 years, and to include a search of purchase orders. provides a listing of suppliers and manufacturers who may have provided non-safety related fasteners.
