of NRR, "Response to NRC Compliance Bulletin 88-02" The purpose of this letter is to provide information to supplement our March 24, 1988 response to NRC Compliance Bulletin 88 02.
Att. ached is a copy of Westinghouse report WCAP-ll788, ' Prairie Island Units 1 and 2 Evaluation for Tube Vibration Induced Fatigue," March, 1988.
This report documents the evaluation of steam generator tubing at Prairie Island Units 1 and 2 for susceptibility to fatigue-induced cracking of the type experienced at North Anna Unit 1.
For both Unit 1 and Unit 2 at Prairie Island, the results of the Westinghouse evaluation indicate that all tubes have acceptable fa-tigue usage and no corrective actions are required.
Five copies of the Westinghouse Proprietary Class 2 version of this report, WCAP-ll787, are also attached for NRC Staff review. Also attached is a Westinghouse authori::ation letter, CAW-88-125, "Applica-tion for Withholding Proprietary Information from Public Disclosure,"
March 25, 1988.
As WCAP-ll787 contains information proprietary to Westinghouse Elec-tric Corporation, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westing-house, the owner of the information.
The affidavit sets forth the basis ot. which the information may be withheld from public disclosure
