Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No. 264 Independent Core Reload Design Methodology-Clarification GPU Nuclear letter to the NRC (6710-97-2139), dated May 8,1997, and as clarified by GPU Nuclear letter, dated June 10,1997, transmitted Technical Specification Change Request No. 264 to incorporate additional NRC-approved analytical methods used to determine TMl-1 core operating limits into the TMI-1 Technical Specifications.
The purpose of this additional TSCR clarification is to include the specific revision number of 1
the GPU Nuclear Topical Reports being added to Technical Specification Section 6.9.5.2 and to identify the date of the NRC Safety Evaluation Report which previously approved each Topical Report. The existing note in Technical Specification Section 6.9.5.2, which states that the current revision level shall be specified in the COLR, is relocated such that it only applies to the current Technical Specification listed Topical Report BAW-10179 P-A. These changes are reflected on the attached revised TMI-l Technical Specification Page 6-19. GPU Nuclear requests that the attached TMI-1 Technical Specification Page 6-19 replace the corresponding page contained in the above referenced May 8,1997 submittal.
This clarification does not affect the significant hazards consideration analysis contained in the j
May 8,1997 GPU Nuclear submittal and is considered an administrative change.
