Docket Nos. 50-454 and 50-455

Dear Ms. Whicher and Mr. Miller:

I spoke to both of you separately on June 22 or 25 to express the Board's appreciation for the courtesy and cooperation each of you has extended to the other, to the other participants and to the Board in this proceeding. Recently it seems that the pressure of preparing for the forthcoming hearing has taken its toll on the good nature usually evident in your communications and that a note of irritability has crept in. We are concerned that the long-standing practice of easy cooperation among the parties might be threatened. Therefore I requested that you relax the tenor of your correspondence and was very pleased when each of you readily agreed.

Very truly yours,
