ORDER On June 21, 1984, intervenors Suffolk County and the State of New York filed a motion seeking the disqualification of all three members of the Licensing Board assigned to the low power phase of this operating license proceeding involving the Shoreham nuclear facility.1 In an unpublished order entered on June 25, the Board members denied the motion.

As required by 10 CFR 2.704 (c), the order went on to refer the matter to us.

The disqualification motion obviously should receive an expeditious ultimate determination.

For this reason, any 1 A previous motion seeking the identical relief, filed on June 18, 1984, was dismissed by the Licensing Board on June 19 for want of the supporting affidavit required by 10 CFR 2.704 (c).

In an unpublished memorandum and order l

entered on the same date, we summarily affirmed that dismissal.

The June 21 motion was accompanied by an affidavit.
