Subject:

Modification No. 2 to Task Order No. 3 Under NRC-02-96-004 This confirms verbal authorizations on June 2, and July 10, 1997, to participate in the NMA/NRC workshop on uranium recovery issues on June 3-5, 1997: and to commence work on July 11, 1997.

Therefore, the pur)ose of this modification is to:

(1) extend the period of performance througl November 15,1997, and (2) increase the task order ceiling and obligated amounts by $13,042 from $127.961 to $141,003.

This effort shall be performed in accordance with the attached statement of work and in accordance with the contractor's technical proposal dated May 30, 1997.

Further, the task order is revised to increase the level of effort hereby increasing the task order ceiling and obligated amounts by $54,000 from

$141.003 to $195,003.

The work to be performed for this effort shall be 1

performed in accordance with the contractor's letter request dated June 27, 1997, which is hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this task order.

Accordingly, the task order is hereby modified as follows:

The second paragraph, first sentence, of the definitization letter is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:

" Task Order No. 3 shall be in effect from November 4,1996 through i

November 15, 1997, with a cost ceiling of 5.195,003." The amount of

$175,623 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, the amount of 56,594 represents the facilities capital cost of money, and the amount y

of $12,786 represents the fixed fee, O

The amount currently obligated is $195,003."

All other terms and conditions of the subject task order remain unchanged.
