Dear Mr. Martin:
i During a routine inspection by Messrs R. D. Thomas, B. L. Brock, and i
Kent Prendergast of your staff on May 16-19, 1988, of the activities i
authorized by NRC License No. SNM-21, it was observed that our Radiological Contingency Plan, Document ESG-81-30, as revised March 3, 1982, i
j did not conform to our present operations.
In discussions with the inspection team, it was agreed that we would revise the plan as necessary to apply accurately to the activities currently authorized by the license.

a Subsequent to the inspection, revision of the plan was discussed with L. C. Rouse, at NRC Headquarters, and it was agreed that it would be appropriate to revise the plan without reducing the effectiveness OT the l
plan and submit the revised plan to NRC Headquarters and your office in accord with License Condition 24 of our license No. SNM-21. This agree-ment was then reviewed with Mr. Thomas of your staff.

Headquarters and the Region V office within 90 days of the date of this
