DOCKETS 50-266 AND 50-301 RESPONSE TO NRC BULLETIN 88-03 POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 This letter is in response to NRC Bulletin 88-03, "Inadequate Latch Engagement in HFA Type Latching Relays Manufactured by General Electric (GE) Company."
We have determined that GE type HFA latching relays are not employed at our Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
Accordingly, we conclude that the inspections required by this Bulletin are not applicable to Point Beach.
