In Reference 1, Union Electric Company requested a revision to the Technical Specifications (TS) for the Callaway Plant.
The I
proposed change would delete organization charts, Figures-6.2-1 and 6.2-2, from the Technical Specifications.
j In order to remain consistent with the Shearon Harris lead plant submittal for organization charts deletion and Generic Letter 88-06 (Reference 2), Union Electric is submitting a revised amendment request.
The revisions include:
(1) TS 6.2.1, which was deleted in the Company's original submittal; and (2) an expansion of TS 6.2.2 to specify that the Superintendent, Operations or the Assistant Superintendent, Operations must hold i
a SRO license.
The attached Technical Specification pages incorporate these revisions and supercede the pages provided in the original referenced submittal.
The Callaway Plant On-Site Review Committee and Nuclear Safety Review Board have reviewed the attached amended request i
)
which is more conservative than the previous version.
Therefore, the Safety Evaluation and the Significant Hazards Consideration i
provided in the original submittal remain valid and bound the amended request.
This -amended request remains consistent with the ef forts of I
industry and the NRC to improve the Technical Specifications j
through simplification.
