utilized for the inservice testing of pumps and valves. A summary of the '

changes is provided in the enclosure. This letter is submitted as a result of commitments in previous correspondence with the NRC and incorporates changes previously discussed with the NRC (see letter ,

SL-3505, Georgia Power Company to NRC, dated October 27,1987).

This submittal and the enclosed ten (10) copies of the subject report should be forwarded to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for review and approval. A copy of this submittal has been forwarded to NRC Region II. He respectfully request approval by May 13, 1988.

In accordance with 10 CFR 170, GPC is enclosing a check for the application fee of $150.00 for the review of the IST progra'n. Should you have any questions in this regard, please contact this office at any time.
