Schnell, Union Electric The purpose of this letter is to confirm that procedure revisions necessary to implement Amendment No. 30 have been completed and this amendment has been implemented for Callaway Plant.

The Reference transmitted Amendmer.t No. 30 to Facility Operating License NPF-30 for Callaway P) ant.

This amendment revised the License and Technical Specifications in order to remove certain fire protection requirements from the Technical Specifications and place them in the Final Safety Analysis Report and in plant procedures under the control of Callaway Plant's On-Site Review Committee.

As stated in the Reference,

implementation of this amendment was contingent upon the completion of the necessary procedural revisions.

The actions necessary to implement this amendment have been completed.
