This modification is issued to expand the scope of work under Task 7; increase the contract ceiling amount; provide incremental funding, and revise the indirect rates. The contract is therefore modified as follows:

- 2. Under Paragraph C.1.3, Scope of Work, add the following to Task 7: l l
"Task 7 is expanded to increase the HF-RBE methods comparison within the Benchmark study to reaf firm the application of Case No. 2.
Specifically, the increased scope includes :

"1. It is estimated that the total cost for full performance of this contract will be $215,643, of which the sum of $198,674 represents the estimated reimbursable costs and of which $16,969 represents the fixed fee. ]
The total estimated cost of Task 7 is $50,903.00, of which the sum of $47,150.00 represents the estimated reimbursable costs and of which $3,753.00 represents the fixed fee. This task shall be funded entirely by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission."

- 6. Paragraph G.1.2. is revised to read as follows:

- 7. Paragraph G.1.3. is revised to read as follows:
"The remaining funds of $13,070.00 will be obligated by EPRI upon availability of funds, by contract mo'dification.

Issuance of this modification results in the following:
The total amount of the contract is increased by $2,950 from $212,693 to $215,643.
The total estimated cost is increased by $2,749 from $195,925 to $198,674.

The amount obligated is increased by $2,950 from $199,623 to $202,573.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
