SUBJECT:
PROPOSED LICENSE TO EXPORT COMPONENTS TO WEST GERMANY (XCOM0752)
On April 11, 1983 DISC Corporation applied for a license to export one proportional counter to West Germany for use in neutron experiments at the Max-Planck Institute (MPI).
The applicant has requested expeditious processing of the license application as the counter is urgently required by MPI.
The staff has concluded that the proposed export meets the requirements of the Atomic Energy Act, as mended, and would not be inimical to the common defense and security of the United States.
z In view of the above considerations, the staff issued the license without the normal 15-day waiting period.
