Paris July 20, 1988 Page 2 personnel have identified an error in a GPU Nuclear document pro-vided during discovery and cited by the Joint Intervenors.
In order to supplement its discovery response and to correct the record before the Board, Licensee provides the attached Affidavit of Kerry L. Harner, Radiological Chemistry Manager at TMI-2.
As Mr. Harner explains, Joint Intervenors accurately re-ported, on page 13 of their response, that in the GPU Nuclear bid procurement document a tritium concentration of 2.1 uCi/ml was listed as the result of a sample taken from one of the accident generated water sources (PWST-2).
That entry has been determined, however, to be a typographical error.
A check of the actual data for that sample shows a tritium concentration of 0.23 uCi/ml.
