20555 PLANT HATCH - UNITS 1, 2 NRC DOCKETS 50-321, 50-366 OPERATING LICENSES DPR-57. NPF-5 SECURITY PLAN REVISION Gentlemen:
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), Georgia Power Company (GPC) hereby submits, as the enclosure, a report of changes inade to the Physical Security Plan (PSP) for Plant Hatch Units 1 and 2.
These changes describe changes to the areas of:
- 1) assessment surveillance. 2) alarm / intrusion detection system, 3) false and nuisance alarm rate, 4)
CAS/SAS operation, 5) definitions, and 6) compensatory measures.
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p), GPC has determined that the changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
The changes are based on an NRC request for information/ clarification of topics in the PSP.
The changes are described on the attached marked up pages and the changes are self explanatory.
The Information contained in the enclosure is SAFEGUARDS information, and, in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, should not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
Revised security plan pages incorporating this change will be provided in an upcoming amendment.
