Dear Mr. Bergeron:
I have received the May monthly progress report dated June 20, 1988, for contract no. 50-19-03-02 FIN B2485, Hydrogeologic Performance Assessment for LLW Sites. Based on ray review of the April monthly raport, progress to date is satisfactory.
As you and I discussed last week, due to conflicting work items, I will be unable to begin ny review of the Sheffield Geoscience Report and Database Report until sometime after August 1, 1988. I will inform you of a revised deadline for completion of my review as soon as possible. In the interim time, please let me know if this delay will interfere in preparation of any future products.
The action taken by this letter is considered to be within the scope of the current contract (50-19-03-02). No changes to costs or delivery of products is authorized. Please notify me irnmediately if you believe that this letter wculd result in changes to costs or delivery of contracted products.
