. c JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 NARRATIVE SitNARY OF OPERATIONS threb, 1988 During the nr> nth of thrch, there was one unit shutdown which occurred on Bhrch 26, 1988, and initiated the Cycle 8 - 9 refueling outage.

The following major safety-related nninterance was perfonned in the month of Bhrch:

1. Inspected and repaired the reactor trip breakers and by-pass treakers per NRC Bulletin 88-01.
2. Rep. aced the bolts in the coupling of the 1C charging pump.
3. Completed the overhaul of the IC service water pump.
4. Perfonned miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenarce on the diesel generators.

The following major safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of March:

3. Cmpleted the overhaul of the IC service water pump.
