ORDER Today we received the applicants' response to the Massachusetts Attorney General's petition for a waiver oi, or an exemption from, the Commission's financial qualification rule. We now have before us all parties' filings on the various petitions filed pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 5 2.758. Although both the Attorney General's and the applicants' papers mention the monthly contributive share payments for Seabrook of Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) in the same breath as the bankruptcy proceeding involving PSNH, neither party has illuminated satisfactorily the current status and likely continuing status of those payments in light of the bankruptcy proceeding.

Accordingly, in keeping with their continuing affirmative duty to keep us advised of significant developments relevant to the proceeding, the applicants shall inform us of all 8804180020 680413 PDR ADOCK 05000443 gj/

relevant developments concerning PSNH's monthly contributive share payments. Sco Duke Power Co. (William B. McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2), ALAD-143, 6 AEC 623, 625 (1973).

In addition to all matters the applicants deem appropriate to include in their response, it would be helpful to us to be informed of the status of those payments since the filing of the bankruptcy petition and the justification for PSNH's actions; the likely continuing status of those payments and the rationale for that status; the actions of the Bankruptcy Court (or any other court) with respect to such payments and the scheduling of any future matters likely to affect those payments; and the actions of any of the other applicants with respect to any monthly contributive share payments for Seabrook.

The applicants' initial response shall be filed by April 25, 1988.

It is so ORDERED.
