Gentlemen:
This refers to the routine physical security inspection conducted by
Ms. G. M. Christoffer of this office on-June 27-30, 1988, of activities
at University of Missouri - Rolla. Reactor authorized by NRC Licenses No. R-79
and No. SNM-247 and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. Bolon at the
conclusion of the inspection and telephonically on June 30, 1988.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the. inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this
inspection. ,
Areas examined during the inspection concern a. subject matter which is exempt
-
from disclosure according to Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations. Consequently, our report of
this inspection will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
