DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Shift Technical Advisor Training The purpose of this letter is to inform you of a revision in a commit-ment made several years ago related to Shift Technical Advisor (STA) continuing training, In a letter dated January 30, 1981 we provided our original STA Pro-gram for NRC review. Since that time, we have completed an STA task list at Prairie Island for an accredited STA Program. This perfor-mance based program departs in many respects from the original program submitted in 1981.

Northern States Power Company is a member of the National Academy for Nuclear Training. Prairie Island will conduct STA training in the future in accordance with the accredited program. A copy of this program and course outlines for STA training and continuing training are available at the Prairie Island Training Center for NRC inspec-tion.

Please contact us if you have any questions related to these changes in our STA Program.
