The attachment to this letter provides the information you requested in Reference (a),
and as clarified in Reference (b). We have reviewed our records and have identified 19 suppliers from which safety-related (SR) fasteners have been purchased for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant within the past 10 years.
We have expended a best-effort to obtain the information requested by References (a) and (b). Ilowever, for the following reasons, not all information you requested could be obtained. Explanation of each item is as follows. No sub-tier suppliers have been provided because this information is not required by our purchasing documents.
Therefore, this information is not readily available. A separate list 'of suppliers for non-safety-related (NSR) fasteners has also not been provided. We are not required to keep NSR purchasing documents and therefore, to develop such a list would require an inordinate amount of time and effort. However, NSR fasteners would have been purebased from most (if not all) of the same suppliers listad for SR fasteners.
