The Indian Point 3 Nuclear Power Plant Safeguards Contingency Plan has been revised to indicate organizational and title changes which do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness

of the plan.
These changes are contained in Chapters 2, 3 and 4 titled respectively, Generic Planning Base, Licensee Planning Base and Responsibility Matrix.
The plan has been recopied in its entirety incorporating each revision to facilitate replacement by all recipients.
Attached are copies of the revised safeguards contingency plan including a summary of the Revision 3 changes.
This information is identified as Safeguards Information and proprietary information in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 and 10 CFR 2.790 (d) (i).
It is requested that upon receipt of this correspondence you inventory the contents and return the enclosed receipt to the Authority's Director of Security, Safety and Fire Protection, Mr. William F. Harrington.
