$125,000.00. Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:

Subsection B.2, Consideration and Obligation, Paragraph flo. 3 is deleted in its entirety and the following Paragraph No. 3 is substituted in lieu thereof:

A new Paragraph No. 4 is added to Subsection B.2, _ Consideration and Obligation, as follows:
"4.
It is estimated that the amount currently ob7inated wnl cove' perfonnance of work through the draft report under Tast IV which will be completed on or before March 31, 1988."

Under Subsection C.1., Statement of Work, Tasks III and IV are deleted in their entirety and the following new Tasks III and IV are substituted in lieu thereof:
TASK III: REVISION AND FINALIZATION OF THE PRIORITIZATION METHODOLOGY Based upon the experience gained in prioritizing those issues in Task II plus any other appropriate inputs, the research prioritization methodolo-gy will be modified accordingly.
A final report describing the revised j
methodology shall be submitted prior to completion of work under Task IV.
The methodology should be simple to use, produce consistent results when used by others, and be scrutable when subjected to review.
TASK IV: COMPLETION OF DATA COLLECTION, COMPILATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF RES ACTIVITIES J
Using the steps outlined iri Task II and the methodology finalized in Task III data will be collected and compiled on the balance of the NRC re-search activities.
The compilation of the data will also utilize the services of RES managers in accomplishing this task. Support personnel for this task will be provided by the contractor. A draft report on the results of this task will be prepared and submitted for NRC review and comment. Comments will be handled as described in Task II. The data compilation covering each activity will be finalized, documented, and provided to the Office of Research for use in performing the priori-tization of research activities.
Scheduling of the interviews with the appropriate NRC personnel will be accomplished by the NRC project manag-er. The project manager will also arrange for conference rooms and/or other facilities as required when the team is meeting in the Rockville/Bethesda, Maryland area.

Subsection F.5 - Duration of Contract Period is deleted in its entirety and the following new Subsection F.5 is substituted in lieu thereof:
"Subsection F.5 - Duration of Contract Period This contract shal1 connence on September 30, 1987 and will expire on June 1,1988.
