Vogtle Electric Generating Plant - Unit 2 Readiness Review Program An updated copy of Module 23 of the Vogtle Unit 2 Readiness Review Program, entitled Plant Security, is enclosed for review and acceptance by the Nuclear P,egulatory Commission (NRC).
This copy supersedes the previous report in its entirety.
All copies of the phase 1 report may be destroyed upon receipt of this distribution.
This updated copy contains pink pages denoting the following report revisions:
- 1) Revision 1 to phase 1.
This revision documents recent changes in the Project's commitments through Amendment 9 of the Physical Security Plan.
- 2) The phase 2 evaluation-As described in the enclosed report, phase 2 consists of a design assessment, an installation assessment, a followup on phase 1 commitment implementation, and a followup on corrective actions for findings issued during phase 1.
Phase 2 is the second phase of a three-phase review of the plant security system.
Based on the review detailed in this module, I am of the opinion tha*.,
with implementation of corrective actions to the findings identified, the Unit 2 plant security system is proceeding in conformance with licensing commitments.
The information herein is, to the best of my knowledge, 2
factual and technically correct.
