7590-01 SN1TEp,p g,ES,KUC,L,E R [Ep,U,LM,0g,_ COMMISSION DUQUESNE LIGHT COPPANY OHIO EDIS0N COMPANY PENNSYLVANIA POWER COMPANY DOCKET NO. 50-334 NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF ANENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (Comission) has issued Amendment No. 128 to Facility Operating License No. CPR-66, issued to Duquesne Light Company, et al. (the licensee), which revised the Technical Specifications for operaticn of the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No.1, located in Shippingport, Pennsylvania. The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance to be implemented within 30 days of issuance.
The arendment changes Technical Specification 4.2.1.4 to require determination of the target flux difference by interpolating to the design end-of-cycle value, instead of interpolating to 0% at the end-of-life.
The application for the anendment cortplies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment and Opportunity for Prior Fearing in connection with this action was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on February 2,1988(53FR2896). No request for a hearing or petition for leave to intervene was filed following this notice.
