DE:RGENCY MOBILE CCMMLHICNTICNS 1.0 Purpose his procedure provides instructions for establishing comunications between emergency support personnel in transit to the ENP site and personnel located at company facilities.
2.0 General 2.1 Wis procedure covers comunications with mobile units enroute between ENP and company offices in Birmingham.
2.2 An annual update will be performed on all call signs, base-station phone numbers and PAX extensions by the Manager - Nuclear Technical Support.
3.0 Procedure 3.1 From company facilities to mobile units:
O 3.1.1 Determine the call number of the vehicle to be located using Table 1.
If security transportation is used, obtain from Corporate Security the radio call numbers for the vehicles used.
3.1.2 Determine approximate location using map (rigure 1) and departure time of person you wish to comunicate with.
3.1.3 Determine the base Station nearest to the mobile unit using Table 2.
NOTE It is i portant that you stay on the line wit.h the base station until they have coritacted the mobile unit.
3.2 Mobile Units to Conpany Centers:
3.2.1 Use Table 2 to determine the nearest base station.
