Gentlemen:
This refers to the routine Material Control and Accounting Inspection
conducted by Ms. G. M. Christoffer of this office on June 27-29, 1988,
of activities at University of Missouri - Rolla Reactor, authorized by
NRC Licenses No. R-79 and No. SNM-247 and to the discussion of our findings
with Mr. Bolon at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the. inspection consisted of a sele:tive
examination of procedures and representative records,' observations, anc
interviews with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this
inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection concern a subject matter Hiich is exempt
from disclosure according to Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Ruler of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations. Consequently, our report of
this inspection will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
