SUMMARY
- ALABAMA POWER COMPANY (APCO)
AND THE ALABAMA ELECTRIC POWER COOPERATIVE (AEC)
SETTLEMENT PROPOSAL On April 6, 1980, a meeting was held pursuant to a Section 2.206 antitrust proceeding involving the Alabama Power Company (APCo) and the Alabama ElectricPowerCooperative(AEC).
The meeting was convened at the request of APCo in an effort to ascertain the status of its settlement proposal presented to the staff in January of 1988.
Staff indicated that the settlement proposal was sent to AEC via letter dated i
January 25, 1988 and that no response had been received to date.
Staff indicated that a follow-up letter would be sent to AEC asking for comments by April 29, 1988.
