Dear Mr. Bari:
I have reviewed the monthly letter status report for May 1988, for FIN NO. A3175, "Analyses of Special Waste Problems." I have the following comments:
The monthly report correctly describes work accomplished during the reporting period on review of the Process Control Program (PCP) for solidification of low-level wastes (LLW) at the West Valley Demonstration Project. The major activity during the month was attendance at and reporting on a meeting held on the PCP on May 3 and 4, 1988. Further review of the PCP is continuing under Task Order No. 4 of this FIN.
I discussed the resolution of the Q crepancy of funds from the March, 1988 monthly report which was explained in the May,1988 monthly report with Alan Weiss, and the resolution is satisfactory.
Actions resulting from this letter are considered to be within the scope of the 50W for FIN NO. A3175. No changes to cost or delivery schedules are authorized. Please notify me immediately if you feel this letter will result in additional costs or changes in del'.::r; of contracted products.
