Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Technical Specification Change Request No.181 Fire Protection Technical Specification Deletion Per GL 86-10 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4 (b)(1), enclosed is one (1) original and ten (10) confirmed copies of TSCR No.181. Also, enclosed is one signed copy of the Certification of Service for the request to the officers of the township and county in which the facility is located, as well as, the Bureau of Hadiation Protection of the State's Department of Environmental Resources.
This application would delete the Fire Protection Technical Specification 3.18 and 4.18 on pages 3-86 through 3-94 and 4-72 through 4-76a, respectively, and add the standard license condition of GL 86-10 to the Operating Licensing for THI-1.
Also, along with this TSCR we are hereby submitting a retyped and revised copy of the Facility Operating License for TMI-1, Docket No. 50-289. The revision has been barred in the right margin for changes due to this TSCR and the recently submitted Long Range Planning Program -- License Amendment Request (LAR) No. 170. This retyped version of the license presupposes that LAR No.
170 is approved by the tim approval of TSCR No.181 is granted.
The purpose of this retyping of the Facility Operating License is that of administrative maintenance of the license and to give it the sam clerical treatment as is given to Technical Specification Change Requests.
We trust that this clean revision will also be of benefit to you in easing your handling of license condition changes as it also provides improved readability of the license.
