Inspection Report No. 70-371/88-02 A routine safety inspection of your Radiation Protection Program was conducted by Mr. R.Loesch, Ms. J.Gresick and Mr. W. Thomas of this office during the aeriod February 29 - March 18, 1988. Our findings were discussed with Mr. G.Waugi and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection on March 18, 1988.
Within the scope of this inspection, it appears that some of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Apparent violations are discussed in the enclosed report. We have scheduled an Enforcement Conference in the Region I office for April 19, 1988 at 11:00 a.m.
to discuss these matters with you. The need for and the nature of appropriate enforcement action will be the subject of separate correspondence at a later date.
