20S55 Lilco - Shoreham Plant Proposed Rule Change Pear Sir:
I want to go on record, in the strongest terms possible, in support of you proposed rule change which would allow Lilco's Shoreham plant to ge.nerate neede.d electric power.
I also call for an investigation of the ruthless disregard for property hights of Lilco and its shareholders by certain politicians and government officials.
The. question of the ability to evacuate around the are.a of the plant should have bee.v. determined prior to actual construction of the plant, not af ter billins of dollan s have bee.n spent.
The facts are clear, the. energy is needed, government on both the national and local levels approved the construction, the. delibeAate. act of non coopeAation by curre.nt local of ficials is tantamount to contempt for due process and the. HRC itself has indicated that the plant is safe.
AmeAica must not let radicals and would be socialists de.stroy on potential for eneAgy indept.ndence from the Mabs.
Very truly yours,
.,l i,. '.
