the Public, and countless persons of r esponsibility and authoritv.

All have testified to the fact that s safe evacuatich from Lonr Island is not possible, that Shorehan, therefore, should never be p ernit t ed to open. "Ih o can better nssess the eroblems of evacuation or know more about their highways, villages and counties than these people? But you have chosen to disregard them.
