Mr. Chairman, the first item today is 11 SECY-88-170, Shoreham.
The Commission is being asked to act on 12 an order that responds to an Intervenor's motion for 13 reconsideration of the June 11, 1987 commission decision, CLI-14 87-05 in which the Commission partially denied Intervenor's 15 request to reopen the record in the proceeding.
16 All Commissioners have approved an order which denies 17 the motion for reconsideration.

The second item is SECY-88-174, a 24 Licensing Board decision on operator license examination in the 25 matter of Alfred J. Morabito..The Commission is being asked to

1 act on an order disposing of the Licensing Board decision-in 2
the matter of Mr. Morabito.
3 All Commissioners have approved an order with a 4
modification by commissioner Carr which vacates the 5
Licensing Board's decision and the Staff's underlying denial of 6
Mr. Morabito's license since the controversy is now moot.

The third item is SECY-87-298, final rule

for revision of 10 C[R Part 72 entitled "Licensing Requirements 13 14 for the Independent Storage of Spent Nuclear Fuel i High-15 Level Radioactive Waste."
16 The Commission is being asked to approve amendments 17 to 10 CFR Part 72 to provide for licensing of the storage of 18 spent fuel and high-level waste in a monitored retrievable 19 storage facility.
20 All Commissioners approved amendments as we 21 circulated on June 8, 1988.
