By their vote to license the Seabrook plant in spite of resistnace by at least two governors,your co.T.T.ission has shown that K thout a doubt four out of fi n of you don't give a hoot for the people who surround it. Maybe that they just don't want to bite the hand that made a generous donation to their IRA accounts.

Or maybe they are showing tangible thanks for the it.sh vacations promised for them and their families. I don't know.

But why is it that they haven't learned the lesson of Three Mile Island?

It's a public secret that the entire town had to be placed on the no-no list following that episode. And what about the accident at Chernoby1? Several adjoining countries were affected by that incident!

Twice recently there h' ave been minor happenings at Seabrook. Fortunately the accidents were of minor nature and also Seabrook was not on line at the time.

But you're dealing with greedy people who are bound and possessed they are going to make a profit at all costs!

Let's face it. Seabrook ( and the one on Long Island) have cost more than four BILLION dollars so far. That's far and away above the original estimates.

If those greedy organizations had.apent a like amount on other forms of generating electricity, we'o have been on line by now. And the publice safety wouldn't be jeopardized.

I'm waiting for the day when we'll have public servants - both appointed and elected .on whom we can depend to really care for the people. But I am not betting the rent on it!
