The license, as originally issued, authorises Yankee Atomic Electric Company to operate its muelear power facility lesated at hows, Massacleasetts.

De amendment authorises operatloa of the facility at a maximum steady state power level of 600 megawatts thermal in accordance with the licensee's application for license amendment dated July 17, 1963. The previously autherised maniaans steady state power level set forth in the technical specifications was 540 megawatts thermal. The notice of

. proposed issuance of the amendment, a copy of which was enciesed in my November 21, 1963 letter to you, was published in the Federal Register en November 23, 1963, 28 PR 12592.
