IE Bulletin 85-03 requires the testing and evaluation of high pressure ECCS motor-ope rated valve s.
Perry responded to this bulletin with a program scope and completion schedule in PY-CL1/01E-0206 L dated May 14, 1986. The attached report completes our response to this bulletin, with the overall conclusion that the subject valves have been lef t in an operable condition in accordance with the bulletin's requirements.
The CE1 program f or testing and evaluating HOV operability also meets and exceeds the BWR Owners Group position as defined in letter BWROG-8645 dated September 2,1986, and in addition addresses operability of valves out of no rmal position.
