Executive Director for Operations Last evening, April 30, 1987, I received a phone call from Steve White.
I received the phone call while I was talking to Mr. Fouchard on my office phone.
I indicated to Mr. White that I was on another call and could not talk at that time.
It was a Yery brief conversation, the essence of which I have only one sentence. He said. "Hang tough" and I said, "thank you and goodbye."
Mr. /ouchard indicated he heard the phone ring and said he would call back.
I suggested that was not nechssary and he indicated that he heard my end of the conversation and can verify that it occurred because he both heard the phene ring and what I said.
