ANS-15.15 CRITERIA FOR THE REACTI.R CONTROL AND SAFETY SYSTEMS OF RESEARCH P.EACTOR STANDARD A working group will soon be formed t develop a new ANSI /ANS-15 standard to establish criteria for research reactor control and safety systems. Upon the recommendation of the Instrumentation and Control Systems Branch of NRR, we request that Leo Beltracchi of your staff be the Commission representative to the working group.
Commission representation on this working group is important in light of the growing number of non-power reactor facilities acquiring or designing and building computer digital / analog control and safety systems.
It is anticipated that the representative will be requested to attend several development meetings and review and comment on draft standards.
