The Commission was briefed by the Houston Lighting and Power Company (applicant) and the staff on the applicant's readiness

to receive a full power operating license for the South Texas Unit i nuclear generating station.
Presentations by the applicant were made by the following:

(Subsequently, on March 22, 1988, the staff issued a full power operating license to Houston Lighting and Power Company for its South Texas Unit i nuclear power station.)
