Mr. Chairman and Members of the Board: '

It is with regret that I inform you that Mr. Kenneth B. Walton, Intervenor Pro Se in this proceeding, is deceased. Mr. Walton had closely followed progress in this proceeding since 1974 at his own expense be-cause of his interest in nuclear power and the proposed Atlantic Generating Station of Public Service Electric and Gas. I am certain that the Board and the parties will agree that Mr. Walton's interest in and contribu-tion to the proceeding was unique and his presence will be missed.

At the request of Mrs. Walton, Mr. Kenneth B. Walton's name should be deleted from the service lists of the parties including the Regulatory Staff and should be i

deleted from the Commission's Docketing and Service Section. This action will effectively stem the volu-minous filings in this proceeding from reaching Mrs.

d Walton who has expressed no further interest in receiving these documents.
