CONFIRMATION OF ACTION LETTER This is to confirm the conversation between you and Dr. Dale A. Powers,-NRC, Region IV, on July 7,1988, revising the terms of the Confirmation of Action Letter dated June 28, 1988 (ref. CAL 88-10). Based on this conversation, it is my understanding that Sierra Testing, Int vill take the following revised actions:
Continue the cessation of operations utilizing licensed byproduct material until specifically authorized.by NRC; however, radioactive sources in safe locked storage may be transferred for use by an authorized recipient.
Issuance of this confirmation of action letter does not preclude the issuance of an order formalizing the above commitments.
